Hello and welcome to Write Learn Creative! I'm Heather Hawkins, and have been a creative writing tutor for 15 years and a writer all my life! I have had a love of language and literature, reading and writing from childhood; a passion which I fully embraced whilst writing my PhD in Literature and since. I am particularly interested in exploring 'hidden voices' in my own creative work and especially enjoy reading and writing poetry.

I can tutor writers at all stages of their writing journey from complete beginners to writers who are writing their first draft or even experiencing writer's block. I have a friendly, relaxed and enthusiastic approach to tutoring which builds on the skills of each writer to nurture their unique creative voice.
